Ready, Set, GO!

26 Jun

Rawhide Studio is going on the road! We will be heading out for a July 4th weekend show in Big Bear Lake   with several other stops along the way just for fun including VEGAS! The car is almost packed and ready to head out. Dave always tries to stuff a few last minute things in the car which tends to throw off the scientific packing job but we press on. See you on the West coast!

Global Arts

23 Jun

Global Arts in Lander WY is the latest gallery to carry Rawhide Studio jewelry.  Lander is located near the Wind River Reservation and Sinks Canyon State Park. It is a beautiful part of Wyoming with lots of opportunities for hiking, fishing and visiting art places like Global Arts and the Lander Art Center. Lander is also home to the National Outdoor Leadership School otherwise known as  NOLS .

Dave and I always enjoy getting up to Lander. We will be heading back up there this Friday for the opening of the West By New West show. We are both in the show along with five other artists from Cheyenne and a guest artist from Lander. More about that show in my next post.

Wyoming Made, Wyoming Proud!

Rawhide Studio was recently featured in the State Gifts USA website. Jim Hofman from Naperville, IL. who owns and operates the site, contacted us to tell us Rawhide Studio was chosen as one of only a few Wyoming business listed on his site. He stated, “State Gifts USA spotlights unique and interesting products made in each of the 50 states.  We generally focus on smaller companies whose products reflect the pride and quality of their home state, make great gifts, and are made available for purchase via the company’s website.  We have proudly featured almost 1,200 Made in the USA products and companies on our site to date. We are very pleased to feature you!  Your products truly reflect the Wyoming spirit”.

The site also lists information about each state and if you sign up for their email newsletter you will receive product updates, state trivia, fun facts and more. Go to the site and check out your state’s featured businesses!
